About Chili Sloop
Hi! I’m Chili Sloop, an artist, designer, diver, and small business owner based in Southern California. Through my brand, Chili’s Creations, I create handmade, ocean-inspired apparel, original ink illustrations, stickers, and art prints.
My work is deeply inspired by the ocean, marine life, nature, emotion, and transformation. A lot of my ideas come from diving, tide pools, kelp forests, and the tiny details I notice underwater. I love turning those moments into meaningful pieces people can wear, collect, and connect with.
Art has truly changed my life.
During my recovery from an eating disorder, I rediscovered my passion for creating. Drawing gave me purpose, peace, and a way to understand myself beyond my body. It reminded me that I am valuable not for how I look, but for what I create, what I care about, and who I am becoming.
My background in visual arts began at the Orange County School of the Arts, where I trained for six years and developed a love for craftsmanship, detail, composition, and storytelling. Since then, I’ve continued studying entrepreneurship and design while growing Chili’s Creations from a small idea into a heartfelt business rooted in creativity, connection, and care.
I believe in slow fashion, handmade process, and the power of art to heal, connect, and help people express themselves.My mission is to use art to inspire healing, self-expression, creativity, and community — one handmade piece at a time.
